Eleuthera, is one of the 700 Islands that encompasses the Bahamas. This small, unpopulated, and quaint island was once home to Lenny Kravitz and offers serenity, incredible pink sand beaches, and impeccable sunsets. Known for their conch, the Bahamian people of Eleuthera are welcoming and warm.
Where to stay?
I would recommend staying at the French Leave Resort. It offers, privacy, beautiful bungalow, 24 hour concierge service, and on property restaurant offering excellent American cuisine. Each bungalow comes equipped with its own personal golf cart that you can drive on property, with easy access to the beaches, pool, and restaurant.
Where to party?
Tippy’s! This island favorite was a ‘tip’ from a Bahamian native and did not disappoint. Undoubtably island vibes. No menu, and you will have to beg them for a check as they do not charge for any drinks or start a tab until closing. The house band has a unique story and plays everything from Bob Marley to Zach Brown Band.
Who to travel with?
Definitely for couples! This place is romantic, serine and private.
