Head a mere two hours out of LA, and find a hip, chic, desert oasis. Palm Springs is ridiculously beautiful and relaxing. Opting to stay at the Riviera, it was a beautiful property and an excellent choice; with expansive grounds, two pools, a beautiful bar area. We had a wonderful time lounging by the pool, having lunch at the beautiful restaurants, and walking to town to one of the many chic bars. If you have the opportunity to check out of the many interesting art exhibitions, reference Project X, and visit an art exhibit made of full glass, an excellent place to relax and take in the views of the city. Reference the website, as directions proved to be difficult. I may find myself out there this next weekend because the desert is that sweet and relaxing. Enjoy… KMS
