Calling all skiers & Apres ski lovers! Wow is an understatement. Atop a hill by which one has to take a gondola to arrive, lies the sprawling St Regis property. A skiers paradise as the lift and runs are just yards away from the gorgeous rooms. This little slice of paradise is a must see.
Starting with the arrival- a bit inconvenient but very unique is the route by which you reach the main lobby. All guests are greeted by valet and ushered in a monogrammed gondola which transports you to the hotel site. A truly expansive lobby with daily hot chocolate, champagne and endless boards games to pass the time. Not to mention several sparkling chandeliers and a few rather enormous fireplaces. Even if you are not a skier you can appreciate this space. The property had two open restaurants while I stayed there. The views were absolutely unreal! Direct Mountain View’s and the occasional skier strolling by. Service was slightly poorer comparative to St. Regis Aspen but the hotel grounds were equally impressive and offered significantly more acreage.
Park city itself, in my opinion, really isn’t even worth a visit. The quaint restaurants and bars that are laden in Aspen can’t be found here, and the shopping is not even comparable. Besides there is literally everything one could desire at the hotel so why leave?
Apart from the daily s’mores, activities, and unbeatable views. One of my favorite features on property is undoubtedly the saunas that accompany the pool and spa area. What a nice touch. Two of the most adorable pint size saunas sit on either side of the pool a great activity post ski and definitely something unique. If you are in need of a winter wonderland head up to St. Regis & don’t bother leaving they have everything you need.
