Nestled in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles on Grand Ave, lies the alluring and impressive 120,000 sq foot structure termed The Broad.
Featuring a collection of modern and contemporary art, and often times rolling exhibitions featuring prominent works (via its lending program with various galleries and museums worldwide). The intricate and ever changing collection lends itself to contribute to numerous LA based educational programs, public programs, and allows for the discovery of new contemporary artists.
Founded in 1984 by philanthropists Eli and Edythe and a generous partnership with global architectural firm Gensler whom helped to create and design the space. Today the museum offers free admission and houses over 2,000 pieces of artwork which together welcome over 800,000 visitors annually.
