In the past few years, Palm Desert has amassed quite the reputation, (in a positive manner). In fact, I have ventured to stay in Palm Desert comparative to Palm Springs, on more than one occasion. Appart from the scenic views, state-of-the-art spa treatments, expansive golf courses, all around gorgeous scenic views, here are three places you must eat (and drink) at.
First up, old time favorite- Mastros! This Mastros location is quite big, and often has truly talented music acts. The menu offers seasonal and expansive options, and the setting is elegant and relaxed. (My classic favorite is the Mastros Lemondrop Martini, you must try one)!
Next, Sullivans! This local favorite is modern and edgy. The head chief takes risky and bold cocktail, and appetizer choices and has such an elegant interesting serving style. From the Filet Minion bites, to the chorizo stuffed dates, and truffle steak tartar, it truly is a culinary experience.
Last, The Cliff. A serine an elegant setting, literally set on a cliffside of the La Quinta Mountains, this restaurant is tres romantique! Featuring ahi tuna, oysters, and some decadent cocktails. This is definitely one of my favorite spots!
