Park Hyatt Tokyo

Perched in the midst of Shinjuku-Ku high above the city on the 52nd floor of the Park Hyatt Tokyo is the iconic New York Bar. Featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows and insatiable views of Tokyo from every vantage point. The bars’ modern design and interior decor is reminiscent of a typical NYC establishment and has several works of art displaying prominent New York City landmarks such as Radio City Music hall.

The cocktail menu is quite extensive and offers everything from Japanese whisky, wine, beer, and handcrafted and locally crafted cocktails. The bar even houses a complete wine cellar encompassing over 1,800 bottles.

Observing the crowd, this proved to be a popular destination for the obvious Park Hyatt guest, as well as a vast amount of western tourists from various parts of the city. Featuring arguably the best view of Tokyo. Patrons can look down on the city’s many parks, government buildings, skyscrapers, and even Mt. Fuji all with a 360 degree view.

The hotel itself offers 177 guest rooms and 23 suites all complete with breathtaking views of the city. Week nights feature local jazz musicians and can get quite crowded. (Reservations are recommended).
