Luxury resort Vana Belle Thailand

The beautiful island of Koh Samui Thailand, has been the backdrop for a slew of famous Hollywood films. Including: The Hangover II, Bridget Jones, The Beach, and Rambo to name a few. It’s no surprise, from its white sandy beaches, clear waters, and lush jungles it is the perfect tropical setting. Some may have heard of Koh Samui from its infamous Full Moon Parties, or the variety of beach related activities or nearby day trips and views to explore.

On the island, there is a variety of luxury resort options, from The W, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Sheraton, and slew of independent luxury properties. Allowing one to be quite selective, given the array of options.

I opted for The Vana Belle Resort.  A 5 star property, located within 4 miles of the airport and city center. This expansive property has a variety of room options from ocean view suits to swim-up villas. It is situated right on the pacific ocean, with a large infinity pool, plethora of cabanas, and plentiful pool bar and restaurant. Complete with an extensive menu featuring local and Western options.

The staff at Vana Belle was highly trained and the property, well groomed and maintained. Several amenities are provided by the hotel including a state of the art gym, 24 hour on call butler service, and variety of lux spa and of course, massage options.

With the new advent of Marriott Bonvoy, guests can simply dine and drink at any Bonvoy properties (Ritz, W, Sheraton, Vana Belle ect.) and simply pay at any location on the island by providing the room number and last name, which is a phenomenal and convenient feature. Regardless of where one decides to stay.
