During a recent visit to the beautiful 5 star Le’ Meridien Chiang Mai, we were treated the most opulent facial, and massage. Upon arrival in the vastly large spa, we were greeted with fresh flowers, and hot herbal tea. The spa masseuses were kind and explained the amenities of the beautiful private room. Complete with a large spa bathtub, shower, and lounge area. Prior to our booking, extensive research on the absolute best massage in Chiang Mai, had undoubtedly proven to be the Le Meridien. Rated number 21 of top activities to do by TravelZoo it did not disappoint. From the world class service, to European design and Thai charm it was the perfect afternoon.
Once in the quiet in peaceful private room, our treatment began with a relaxing foot soak to get our afternoon started. After the hot towels, and foot massage, we were shown to the massage tables. Where we selected to receive a 60 minute Thai massage with herbal essential oils. From hot towels to warm blankets, and concentration on all parts of the body it was extremely relaxing. The massage was followed by a bamboo facial, and intensive scalp massage.
The entire experience left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed especially after so many days of travel. If you want to experience a true Thai massage in an elegant and posh setting, I would certainly recommend the Le’ Meridien Chiang Mai.
