A recent trip Maui, HI allowed me much needed time to unwind, relax, and enjoy some pleaseure reading. At the time I was particularly taken with the story Rigoletto, one of the more well known and regularly performed Italian operas. A love story of fate, deceit, and desire. The lyrics struck me and haven’t quite left since I heard them. The English translation is listed below.
