Upon arrival, Athens, Greece was completely different from what I had anticipated. Similar in many ways to Italy, in regards to friendly locals, amazing cuisine, and the whimsical yet calm energy of many strolling the streets in content. There are so many historical sites to view, many of which date back to some of the earliest known population of mankind, writings and teachings of Plato, Socrates and the like. There is entirely to much to see within this city. I would recommend one to stay at minimum 4 days. From the Acropolis, to the Olympic stadium, incredible city views and roof top bars. Athens has so much to offer.
