Yesterday while visiting the chatuea de Versailles, I was throughly impressed with the expansive grounds. Far more beautiful than the chateau itself was the beautiful grounds which encompasses acres of beautifully manicured lawns, unique flowers and plants, and charming water features, sculptures and monuments. I highly enjoyed being able to paddle on the quaint lake and having the ease and convince of casual dinning on the grounds. One could easily spend the entire day here, as it it is more relaxing than your typical museum visit and offers a beautiful ambience and rich history.
